Being oneself is a bit challenging in this day in age. On YouTube, you can find a million videos detailing how to become 'that girl,' which is a sort of vague term that seems to refer to some sort of confident woman who works out and eats healthy and wakes up early and just generally has good habits. There is nothing wrong, of course, with implementing mindfulness, wellness, and productivity habits into your life, but sometimes watching these sorts of videos can make you feel like you have to throw your whole self away and use a new-moon Pinterest board to manifest a new one.

This is not the case, however. Being yourself is ultimately more freeing than eating chia seed bowls or doing a 40-minute yoga session every morning will ever be (unless, of course, that is genuinely something that you enjoy).
